My name is Faiza Anwar working as Assistant professor in School of Design and Textile. I have completed by Bachelor degree in Textile Engineering form National textile university Pakistan. After that I started working as a research assistant in CRL, Division of my University. At the same time I was also enrolled in M.S Advanced Materials Engineering. collectively I have ten years of teaching experience. Currently I am pursuing my PhD in textile my research project is about natural dyes. I have published number of research papers in international impact factor journals and attended many conferences within and outside Pakistan. My Research areas include, Nanotechnology, Functional textiles and Technical textiles.

  • synthesis of functional textile by microencapsulation of sandalwood essential oil
  • Analysis and comparing the dye fastness of batik technique
  • development of functional textile by microencapsulation of sandalwood essential oil
  • Dyeing of silk using Natural dyes extracted from concinna (shikakai) and Sapindus mukorossi (reetha)
