Tehreem Fatima is the Acting Chairperson of the Department of Textiles & Fashion Design. As a textile and interior designer, educationist, entrepreneur, and researcher, she brings over 13 years of combined experience in industry and academia. As a dedicated educator, her work emphasizes student-centered learning, where she thoughtfully blends industry exposure with engaging learning experiences.
With nearly six years of experience in higher education, she has been actively involved in curriculum development, educational enhancement, and creating opportunities that foster effective and dynamic learning environments. From teaching foundation courses at the early stages to developing and implementing thesis and major courses, her expertise has been instrumental in enriching students’ diverse learning experiences. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Art & Design at Punjab University.
