Students Training Program in TEXTILE DESIGN

Aim of this training was to create interactive & ever evolving nature of Textile Design under the supervision of highly specialized Textile Design Expert (Lead Pret Designer) from Sapphire textiles.

This 2 Day Training Workshop was organized by School of Textile Design Department in Collaboration with Textile Design Department of Sapphires Textiles.

Facilitator of this workshop was Rehman Younas (Textile Designer) Lead Pret Designer in Sapphires Textiles. Rehman Younus has 10 years of Experience in the field of of Textile Designing. Graduated from BNU in Textile Design. He has worked as a head of Textile Design Department in Sokamal and Afsanay. Now working as a Lead Pret Designer in Saphire Textiles Lahore.

Objectives:-Acquire a thorough understanding of the Textile Design process and color balancing alongside technical prowess.
Deliver Technique and procedure of textile print design by using adobe Photoshop software.
  1. To know Specifications of a textile design from a technical perspective of textile industry
  2. To produce Print ready file
  3. To know how to repeat textile patterns
  4. To develop and extract motives

Produce new textile print design of Womens Wear (Shirt, Trouser & Dopatta) & Home Apparels as per client’s requirement from a technical perspective of textile industry.
