Biography of Fashion Designer: Known by the label; MNR, Mohsin Naveed Ranjha is one of the very few Pakistani designers who have gained immense appreciation from fans and critics in a short period of time. Mohsin Naveed Ranjha of MNR Design Studios, stepped into the industry in 2011. Mohsin launched his brand in 2013 at Gujranwala, Pakistan and made his debut at HUM TV Bridal Couture Week 2014. Since then, he has made a remarkable mark in the field with his extraordinary royal designs in various clothing lines for men’s and women’s wear e.g. formals, semi formals, bridals and shawls. After astounding success in Gujranwala for his Design studio, the very traditionally inspired designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha lands in the centre of Lahore on MM Alam Road to bring his regal aspirations to the heart of Pakistan. His very first flagship store opened its door to the public. Following the success at different Fashion Weeks throughout 9 years of experience from 2011 to date His work speaks for himself.
MNR showcased his collections in many Fashion Weeks till date e.g, HUM TV Bridal Couture Week 2014, Telenor Bridal Couture Week 2015, Q Mobile Bridal Couture Week 2016, Pantene HUM Bridal Couture 2017, Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week 2018 and PFDC Sun silk Fashion Week etc.
Topic of Seminar: Journey from a Design student to a Renowned & Successful Fashion Designer
In this seminar designer discussed his journey that how he started his work from a group of 2-3 people and reached up to 400 employees right now. He further explained that how he struggled with consistency in catering different customers. Besides this he explained his studio working, his collaboration with Indian Celebrities and a brief comparative analysis of Pakistan and Indian fashion industry. He responded to students’ various queries regarding launching on brand even on small scale, to proper display garments during ramp walk, selection of fashion models and a proper understanding of fashion makeup artists and fashion magazines.
