Hum Bridal Couture Week of DTF
The School of Design & Textiles (SDT), University of Management and Technology (UMT) proudly acknowledges the successful participation of its students as backstage ushers at HUM Bridal Couture Week 2025, held from 19–21 December in Lahore. This professional engagement was arranged and supervised by Miss Ramsha Binte Zikeria, Sir Bilal Ghaffar, and Sir Sami Yazdani, providing students with invaluable real-world exposure to Pakistan’s premier bridal fashion platform. Students experienced the fast-paced dynamics of backstage operations, gaining insight into event coordination, runway management, and industry professionalism.They had the opportunity to observe and interact with renowned designers who officially showcased at HBCW 2025, including HSY, Ali Xeeshan, Fahad Hussayn, Asifa & Nabeel, and Fais Couture, among others. The experience was further enriched through interactions with celebrated personalities such as Hira Mani, Mawra Hocane, Abrar-ul-Haq, Soniya Hussain, and Bilal Saeed, along with leading models and fashion industry professionals. This immersive learning opportunity marks a significant achievement for SDT UMT students, bridging academic learning with practical industry exposure.
